Colorado Museums
There
are several quality museums located around Colorado. The state was the
setting for the new frontier of America, has endured gold and silver
mining rushes, been a thoroughfare for the railroads, and home to many
Indian tribes. Much of this important history is still alive in its
original location now a museum. The Byers-Evans House and Astor House
Museums offer some of this rich history on the original property.
Colorado museums also offer visitors a more contemporary look at the
world we live in. National Laboratories like the National Center for
Atmospheric Research are logging weather around the globe in Boulder,
Colorado . The
ability to explore ancient lands, view dinosaur skeletons, or even watch
the amazing IMAX are available at the Natural History Museum.
